Biden Says U.S.-Israel Ties ‘Unbreakable’
Vice President Joe Biden said the U.S. commitment to Israel was ?unbreakable.?
Biden made his remarks Sunday in an address to the annual dinner for Yeshiva Beth Yehudah, an Orthodox Jewish day school in suburban Detroit, the Detroit News reported.
The commitment, the vice president said, ?is a key component of our broader efforts to secure this region and the wider world as well as our own security. America?s bond with Israel is unbreakable. I guarantee you, we will stand with Israel because we know she has nowhere else to go and we want her to stay right where she is.?
Biden said President Obama shared his views. The White House and the Obama re-election campaign are pushing back hard against Republican claims that the president has distanced the United States from Israel.
