Sheldon Adelson Scoops $15B To Top Forbes List
Casino magnate and billionaire Sheldon Adelson topped Forbes annual list of the biggest wealth gainers in 2013.
Adelson’s net worth grew by $15 billion, or 68 percent, as of Dec. 20, according to Forbes. He went from the country’s 11th riches person to its fifth.
Adelson’s fortune grew, in large part, due to the success of his casinos in Macau and Singapore, according to Forbes.
Facebook founder Marc Zuckerberg was the country’s second largest gainer, doubling his worth to nearly $26 billion.
Zuckerberg’s wealth grew by $13.6 billion to $25.8 billion.
