Sex Offender Busted After Being Turned Away From California Jewish School

A sex offender was arrested about a month after being turned away from a Jewish day school campus in California.

Theodore Lorigo, 42, a registered sex offender for kidnapping a child under the age of 14 “with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts,” according to the Megan’s Law website, arrived at the the South Peninsula Hebrew Day School campus in Sunnyvale and identified himself as a prospective parent. He carried a fake ID, according to reports.

Headmaster Alan Selis told local media that he and other staff members turned away Lorigo because something did not feel right. Lorigo left on his own.

The incident took place in December, but he was arrested in San Jose on Jan. 23 for violating the terms of being a registered sex offender, according to reports.
