Robert Goldstein Sentencing (Correction)
An article in last week’s Forward on the sentencing of Robert Goldstein for allegedly planning to bomb a mosque in Florida inadvertently misrepresented the target of a search by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. The bureau found explosives in Goldstein’s townhouse, not in his lawyer’s home.
Ralph P. Slone is the founder of the La Cucina Kasher in Tuscany. His surname appeared incorrectly in the June 27 issue.
Jacqueline Gold served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon from 1987 to 1989. An article in the June 27 issue incorrectly identified the African nation.
Hello, fellow Forward reader! I’m Joel Brown, a Forward reader and supporter for more than 15 years, and currently the chair of the board of directors.
I’m an avid Forward reader because it ticks so many of my essential boxes: excellent journalism, Jewish focus and diverse viewpoints. In today’s political climate, what I most appreciate is the Forward’s independence — made possible by the generosity of its membership.
The Forward is committed to bringing you unbiased, nuanced Jewish news. From my position as board chair, I see an exciting future as we expand our position as the definitive independent voice of contemporary American Judaism.
