Stephen Miller Writing Donald Trump’s Inaugural Address

President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly chosen Jewish adviser Stephen Miller to write his inaugural address, continuing to draw on the expertise of an aide who penned many of his campaign trail speeches.

“Steve’s a machine,” said Jason Miller, another Trump confidant, in remarks to Politico. “I’ve literally seen him knock out three speeches in a day.”

Miller, who wrote the president-elect’s speech at the Republican National Convention over the summer. has been conferring with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago Florida estate.

According to Politico’s story, the inaugural will focus on areas of so-called national consensus, including education reform, border security, infrastructure and outsourcing.

Miller will serve in the West Wing come this January, working as the senior White House adviser for policy, a coup for a 31-year-old.

He has deep conservative roots going back to his undergraduate days at Duke, where he wrote a series of articles on such topics as multiculturalism, which he called “segregation” and paid family leave, which he said would cause men to lose their jobs.

Also at that time, Miller was an associate of Richard Spencer, the white supremacist who coined the term “alt-right.”

Miller said he has no relationship with Spencer and repudiates his views.
