Curt Schilling Launches ‘Ass Whipping’ Twitter Salvo Against Rising Democratic Star
Baseball great Curt Schilling unleashed a nasty Twitter salvo against Jason Kander after the rising Democratic star slammed Donald Trump on a national TV appearance.
The retired Boston Red Sox pitcher, who is now perhaps better known as a far right wing pundit of sorts, called Kander a “piece of garbage” and said he deserves an “ass whipping” for his remarks.
@JasonKander what a piece of garbage you are. Pains me to say that about someone that served but man you need an ass whipping

Kander is a fresh-faced Jewish Democrat who came close to knocking off veteran Republican Sen. Roy Blunt in deep red Missouri.
He fired back at Schilling that his threats of violence may not sit well with Hall of Fame voters who take personal conduct into account when making decisions about inducting candidates.
Enjoyed watching you play. Better luck next year with the Hall of Fame balloting. That Rule 5 character clause can be a drag, huh? https://t.co/kZqne1U3tL

In this age of misinformation, our work is needed like never before. We report on the news that matters most to American Jews, driven by truth, not ideology.
At a time when newsrooms are closing or cutting back, the Forward has removed its paywall. That means for the first time in our 126-year history, Forward journalism is free to everyone, everywhere. With an ongoing war, rising antisemitism, and a flood of disinformation that may affect the upcoming election, we believe that free and open access to Jewish journalism is imperative.
Readers like you make it all possible. Right now, we’re in the middle of our Passover Pledge Drive and we still need 300 people to step up and make a gift to sustain our trustworthy, independent journalism.
Make a gift of any size and become a Forward member today. You’ll support our mission to tell the American Jewish story fully and fairly.
