WATCH: Ted Koppel Tells Sean Hannity He’s Bad For America

Veteran TV anchor Ted Koppel told Fox News TV host Sean Hannity he is bad for America.
In an interview that aired on CBS’ “Sunday Morning,” Hannity asked Koppel, “You think I’m bad for America.”
“Yeah,” Koppel answered.
“You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts,” Koppel continued.

Koppel, born in England to German-Jewish refugees, spoke to Hannity as part of a larger report on the blurring of fact and opinion in American news. It’s a topic Koppel has addressed before. Last month he railed against Hannity and Fox host Bill O’Reilly who he said “disguise their shows as objective news,” rather than label them as opinion. Koppel also lamented the decline of news bureaus in the Middle East, which he said was gutting the region of seasoned reporters.
Hannity complained on Twitter that Koppel edited his comments too tightly and demanded CBS “release the Unedited 45 minute interview so people can see the BS game you play in the editing room.”
