Amy Schumer Buys $2,000 Mattress For Store Worker Who Let Her Use Bathroom

Um, if Amy Schumer ever needs to use the bathroom and you have the power to give her the door key, do it. You might get a sweet mattress out of the deal.

That’s pretty much exactly what happened to Six Corners Mattress Firm employee Sagine Lazarre, when the comedian stopped in asking for a restroom.

Lazarre, who didn’t initially recognize Schumer, gave her the okay.

“She comes out of the bathroom and asks me which one of these (mattresses) is my favorite,” Lazarre later told WGN. “She told me she wanted to buy it for me. And I was was so shocked!”

The mattress Lazarre had her eye on was $2,000, and Schumer happily turned over her credit card. It was only later that the clerk decided to google the generous stranger’s name.

“The lady that was right there talking to me is Amy Schumer. It was amazing. Unbelievable,” she said.

The best part about getting the mattress? Lazarre had just moved into a new apartment with her daughter.

Lifetime mensch award right there.
