BREAKING: Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen Focus Of Congress’s Russia Investigation
Congressional investigators looking into Russian influence in the 2016 election have asked President Donald Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, for information and testimony, ABC News reports.
According to ABC, Cohen has declined the request from House and Senate investigators.
“I declined the invitation to participate, as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered,” Cohen told the news organization.
Cohen has long been one of Trump’s staunchest and most vociferous allies. Inside the Trump Organization, he was known as Trump’s “pit bull”.
Cohen was named in the unconfirmed intelligence dossier published in January by the website BuzzFeed.
