Martha Stewart Will Visit Israel To Promote Tourism
Despite the fact that the coming month appears laden with the threat of potential diplomatic turmoil as well as social unrest, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart has confirmed she will be visiting Israel as soon as later this week.
In a tweet on Stewart’s official Twitter page on Monday, the one-person empire wrote in the wake of Hurricane Irene: “Despite the horrible hurricane, a life must go on. Planning a wonderful trip to Israel!”
On Tuesday Stewart’s page already displayed a photo of herself holding a map of Israel with Israeli official Haim Gutin, with the caption “planning my trip.” Another tweet informed her readers that her nephew planned to come along for the trip, saying: “He speaks fluent Arabic and a bit less-fluent Hebrew – great for me!”
Stewart’s trip, organized and funded by Israel’s Tourism Ministry, will take the lifestyle high priestess to Masada, the Galilee, Tel Aviv, as well as the Dead Sea, where she is expected to support the Dead Sea’s candidacy to be included as one of the world’s seven natural wonders.
