Forward Staff Honored

It’s been a good week for the Forward. The paper was recognized last Friday by the Independent Press Association of New York when two staff members received Ippie awards.

Editor J.J. Goldberg won third place in the best editorial category for “Blind Justice,” and staff writer Rebecca Spence won third place in the best labor story category for “Labor Woes Hit Memorial to East Side Wage Slaves.”

The Forward’s Web team was also honored this week: won the Silver Medal in the 2007 International Davey Awards.
