Mazel tov to Rosanne Barr, who finished fifth in the presidential race. She garnered 48,797 votes across the country. Does that mean that the comedienne and activist is going to pack it in? Not at all. “I do not concede. In fact, I accept the job of unofficial President of the USA. I’ll serve Main St. not Wall St.,” she tweeted.

Mayim Bialik shared on her Kveller blog that she cried when listening to President Obama’s victory speech, and also to Governor Romney’s concession speech. She wrote “I can barely handle getting an email from my manager saying I didn’t get an acting job; I can’t imagine having to tell millions of people you lost the bid to be president live on TV.”
Those of you who have been wondering why Sarah Jessica Parker ended up being the one chosen to host a big fundraising dinner for President Obama at her West Village brownstone last June will be interested to know that it was all because of the numbers. Huh? Read here and you’ll understand just how calculated the decision was.
When it comes to voting in style, no one beats Joan Rivers. She tweeted photos of herself, decked out in her fur coat, going to vote… waiting to vote… going to the doctor for x-rays while someone held her place in line to vote… and returning to the polling place to vote. Presumably, she did actually end up voting — but there was no photographic evidence of that.
Barbara Walters, who was up late working as an elections commentator for ABC, was a big groggy this morning on The View. She needed Whoopi Goldberg to explain the graphic details of Los Angeles County’s newly passed law that requires porn actors to wear condoms.

Sassy Carrie Fisher answered the paparazzi’s question about whether she’ll be starring in the new Star Wars movie in the affirmative. Was she serious? Who knows. At the very least, it was a good attempt at trying to get those guys to leave her alone as she walked her dog.
Ginnifer Goodwin was spotted at the airport heading out of Vancouver, where she has been filming scenes for her TV show “Once Upon a Time.”
Hailee Steinfeld was spied shooting scenes with Kristen Wiig in New Orleans for their new film, “Hateship, Friendship.” Steinfeld plays a teenager who orchestrates an affair between her nanny (Wiig) and her father.

Tori Spelling went all Mad Hatter for daughter Hattie’s first birthday party. The entire family was decked out in Alice in Wonderland costumes and Spelling, who dressed as he Queen of Hearts, reported that the birthday girl took her first steps at the party.
Scarlett Johansson showed off the new “Lucky You” horseshoe tattoo she had inked on the side of her torso in Paris last week.
