Tim Allen Compares Being A Hollywood Conservative to Living In Nazi Germany

It’s really rough out there for a conservative working in Hollywood. At least, according to Tim Allen.
During an interview on last week’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian discussed — with noticeable hesitation — attending President Trump’s inauguration.
“Yeah, I went to the inauguration,” Allen said, to which Kimmel responded with a laugh: “I’m not attacking you.”
The “Last Man Standing” actor then explained how much he needs to tiptoe around Hollywood as a conservative.
“You’ve gotta be real careful around here,” he said. “You get beat up if don’t believe what everybody believes. This is like ’30s Germany. I don’t know what happened. If you’re not part of the group, ‘You know what we believe is right,’ I go, ‘Well, I might have a problem with that.’”
This isn’t the first time that Allen has spoken out about feeling ostracized for his political views. During an interview on The Kelly File in November, Allen called Hollywood left-wingers “hypocritical” for criticizing Trump.
“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully,” he said. “But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a little bit hypocritical to me.”
