Tuesday

NYC — The rabbi behind the Hogwarts Haggadah will be interviewed by comedian Elon Gold at a very magical official launch party at SAR in Riverdale. No, you’re not too old for this. Light refreshments will be served.

8:00 p.m. Free.

NYC — Free Pizza, Beer, Documentary n’ Chill: Join Sixth Street Synagogue for a screening of “Streit’s: Matzo and the American Dream.” The film is a story of tradition, of resistance and resilience, and a celebration of the Streits family, whose commitment to their heritage and to their employees is inspiring proof that the family that bakes together, stays together. The director Michael Levine will be on hand for a post-film discussion.

Wednesday

NYC — After 12 years writing “The Ethicist” for The New York Times Magazine, Randy Cohen has a new project, Person Place Thing, an interview show in which one guest tells three insightful and often hilarious stories. On Wednesday, Cohen will interview Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL, at the JCC Manhattan.

Thursday

NYC — Join the ACCESS NY Passover Seder, which brings together communities of differing faiths and ethnic backgrounds to learn about and celebrate the universal values and themes in the story of Passover.

Santa Clara — Join your fellow young professional #SiliconJews at Chabad Santa Clara for an energizing Shabbat meal.

NYC — Ready for a Spring Fling? You’re in luck. The author of “Being Naked: A Nine Week Journey Towards Self-Awareness” is the guest speaker at this special YoPro Shabbat Dinner at the swanky Fifth Avenue Ballroom.

Saturday

NYC — It may be April Fools, but this is no joke: Enjoy a live DJ, special drink prices and the dance floor at Amity Hall Uptown. Proceeds will support IDF Lone Soldiers.

Sunday

Chicago — The leading Israeli chamber ensemble Atar Trio is in town and will perform new interpretations of Jewish, Israeli, and world music along with exciting arrangements of traditional chamber music by composers Bernstein, Bloch, and others.

2:00-4:00 p.m. $8-18.
