Well, if cuteness was a factor then we guess we get why Bar Refaeli and Adi Ezra’s baby nabbed a spot on Channel 2’s most influential Israelis list.
Liv Ezra, who turned two-months-old in August, was the youngest person to land on the list, followed closely by the three-year-old son of former Likud minister Gideon Sa’ar.
The tot was in good company, making a name for herself among fellow awardees including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Shimon Peres.
While there hasn’t been any sightings of Liv, we got sneak peaks of her mom before giving birth—as she rocked pregnancy like no other.
Here’s to a bright, influential future, Liv! No pressure or anything.
It seems Bar Refaeli’s new swimwear line is just too risqué for Israeli television.
The Second Authority for Television and Radio, which controls Israeli TV and radio advertisement, deemed Refaeli’s new ad campaign for her swimsuit line with Hoodies to be too racy and inappropriate for broadcast. The authority has ordered the company to make cuts and edits, especially the closeup shots of Refaeli’s derriere and the scenes where she appears to be nude.
The Jerusalem Post reports that once those edits are made, the ad will still only air after 10 p.m. to avoid exposure to young children.
Hoodies responded to the censorship, saying the commercial was filmed in a “fun, summery atmosphere” with the blonde beauty when Refaeli, 30, was three months pregnant, and that they “regret that the Second Authority found that it hurt the public’s feelings.”
This is not the first time a Hoodies and Refaeli collaboration has resulted in controversy. A 2014 ad imagined the model in bed with Red Orbach, a mustachioed purple muppet. That ad was also only broadcast after 10 p.m. as per the The Second Authority regulations.
Bar Refaeli’s baby girl is four months from birth but already she and mommy are snapping selfies — and boy oh baby boy are they stunning.
The Israeli supermodel showed off a barely there baby-bump on Instagram over the weekend that got nearly 60,000 likes from her devoted fans.
In the picture, Refaeli, who is five months along, suns herself in a string bikini on a turquoise towel.
“My girl craved some vitamin D,” she said of the light’s fortifying rays.
People.com said the photo proves that “not all pregnancies are the same.”
“With her abs still looking toned enough to to walk down a runway, the only obvious hint that she’s hit the five month mark were her larger-than-usual breasts popping out of her top,” the folks at the celeb magazine observed.
An understatement if ever there was one.
Bar Refaeli, beloved Israeli top-model and TV show host, announced on New Year’s Eve that she was expecting her first child with husband, businessman Adi Ezra, who she married in September of 2015.
So what does Israel’s most beautiful woman look like pregnant? Well, luckily, you don’t have to wonder about that: there’s photographic evidence.
Bar’s BFF, Dafi Ziv, posted the following images on her Instagram with the caption “There’s nothing to do with her, all she wants to do is sleep… Or eat #sheissopregnant”.
In the pictures Bar can be seen napping, eating and making herself a delicious toasted sandwich while smiling as Dafi takes the photos. Basically, looking like her cute, pregnant self.
Bar commented on the post “Shitty friend” (Well, actually, more like, “poopy friend or poophead friend”, so, we assume, tongue in cheek), while stylist Sandra Ringler, another Refaeli BFF, wrote “Chazaq!” (Strong!).
While some publications called the pictures “shaming”, we must say, we find them adorable and heartening. It’s always nice to see a softer human side to famous people, especially contrasted with Refaeli’s mostly glamorous and flawless public persona (although one can find the errant picture of the model about to bite into a giant burger on her instagram).
And if you’re still worried about Refaeli’s friendship with Dafi Ziv, have no fear, the two have been close friends since 2000, according to this instagram post, so I’m sure a few incriminating images won’t come between them.
Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli announced in an Instagram post that she is expecting her first child.
Refaeli, 30, posted a photo of a positive pregnancy test on her Instagram account.
“2016 is going to be like…” she wrote, followed by an icon of a baby bottle and an icon of a baby. The post received over 75,000 likes in just a few hours.
In September, Refaeli married businessman Adi Ezra, whose family owns the Israeli food importing company Neto ME Holdings. The wedding was preceded by a conflict over whether it was permissible to impose a no-fly zone over it.
