Spencer, the ‘alt-right’ leader, headlined an explosive event at Texas A&M last November, leading to violence and pickets.
“We were there for Richard Spencer’s event, or, to be more precise, we were there to confront the hordes of Jews, anti-Whites, and mud people,” Anglin wrote in a Thursday blog post.
“We are really proud of him for standing up for all of us,” said a Texas A&M student in praise of his campus rabbi, who organized a silent demonstration against the event.
“I wasn’t on the high school debate team,” Rosenberg said to the Forward. “I really didn’t want to get into it. That might have been the wrong decision, but I’ll let the next rabbi deal with it.”
Spencer, who calls for the founding of a white “ethnostate,” will headline an event on campus, after an invitation from a former student at the university, who himself has attracted notoriety for his white nationalist views and rented space for the occasion.
Being a Jewish cadet at Texas A&M has been one of the greatest blessings that I would have never imagined.
