Jewcy’s Return

Jewcy, the online magazine appealing to young Jews, relaunched today with a nice-looking website and some fresh content.

The nonprofit cousin of JDub records maintains its robust music and books coverage, but has added sections for news, food, social justice and family and features an events calendar, which is certainly needed in the Jewish webiverse.

Some noteworthy posts:

• Judd Apatow’s public service announcement for American Jewish World Service featuring known non-Jews Lindsey Lohan, Tracy Morgan and Sir Patrick Stewart and a few Jews like Jerry Seinfeld and Sarah Silverman.

• A JDate with Jon Stewart. Or his avatar. For that Washington thing he did. It’s so Monday already.

An interview with Will Schneider, the director of pioneering Jewish philanthropy, Slingshot.

Welcome back, Jewcy.
