Ruth Westheimer’s Oscar Night Tips

Wondering how to make watching the Academy Awards more exciting—and participatory— this year? Play Dr. Ruth Westheimer’s Oscar game (we’ve told you about this before, but now there is an extended version!). The diminutive sexologist makes lots of suggestions, including exactly what kind of sex should you have if “Life of Pi” wins, or if “Les Miserables” beats “Zero Dark Thirty.” Just be aware, that if Daniel Day-Lewis loses, you’ll have to give up sex for a month. “Don’t worry, it’ll never happen,” Dr. Ruth adds reassuringly.

Former NY mayor Ed Koch was unfortunately readmitted to the hospital on Monday, just two days after being discharged following treatment for fluid in his lungs.

Not one to shy away from over-sharing or seizing a opportunity to make money, Bethenny Frankel is already working on a book about being a single mom. Divorce proceedings between her and soon-to-be ex-husband Jason Hoppy have barely started.

And now for a happier couple—Anne Hathaway is thrilled to have found the right man for her. She reportedly said to friends at a SAG after-party this past Sunday that she “met a lot of bad ones” before landing up with her bashert, Adam Shulman.

Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Busfield, stars of two TV shows we remember fondly from our youth (“Little House on the Prairie” and “Thirtysomething,” respectively) have announced their engagement. It will be the third marriage for both of them.

And speaking of engaged couples, here’s a cute photo showing off the lovely—and large—diamond ring Jamie-Lynn Sigler received from new fiancé Cutter Dykstra.

Max Greenfield told Jimmy Fallon that he was too starstruck to strike up a conversation with Lorne Michaels and tell him his bar mitzvah story at the Golden Globes.

“Lincoln” director Steven Spielberg will receive the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award at the American Cinema Editors’ 63rd annual ACE Eddie Awards on February 16.

Deadline.com got an exclusive wide-ranging interview with Harvey Weinstein. It covers everything from Sundance, to President Obama, to “Django Unchained” director Quentin Taratino’s Oscar nomination snub, to Sal Mineo in “Exodus,” to Hurricane Sandy relief.

Kiss rocker Gene Simmons, who’s lost 25 lbs., offers some fitness tips.

The other Hebrew Hammer, boxer Cletus Seldin, won his latest fight in three rounds. “The win takes his record to a perfect 10-0-0 with a stunning 7 knockouts, a statistic that is practically unheard of in modern era Jewish boxing,” wrote Max Elstein Keisler in the Algemeiner.

And in celeb sightings, we have: Emmy Rossum offering us a view of her polka dot dress from behind; and Sarah Jessica Parker strolling with her twin daughters, who might be transmitting messages to their mother (ship) with their cute alien headbands.
