Amy Schumer Brilliantly Mocks Glamour’s ‘Plus Size’ Monicker on Jimmy Fallon

Oh Amy, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways.

Outspoken comedienne Amy Schumer mocked dubbing her as plus size on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday night. “For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m a famous plus size model,” she joked to roaring laughter, reclining down in her chair in what can only be described as the female version of Manspreading.

“I love Glamour magazine, honestly, they have been so nice to me, they’ve done many good things for women,” she said to Fallon, adding, “but what I learned is that people really don’t like being classified as ‘plus size,’ we don’t need these labels. We don’t need them.”

In an adorable turn in conversation, Schumer, 34, spoke about her boyfriend Ben Hanisch, and the sensation the news that they were dating caused back in December.

“We met and like totally fell in love, and it’s been really good,” she said. “But it became viral Internet news and I think it’s because he’s really cute. People were like, ‘what? he has all his teeth?’ People were shocked.”

Schumer then shared a hilarious story of Hanisch’s mother’s, Deb, interaction with the media. “I said journalists are going to call you, because it’s what they do, and they’re going to come to the house. And they did,” she said, adding that she warned Hanisch’s mother not to comment. “Not even ten minutes later, I get a Google alert that says that Deb was like ‘I’ve never heard of her before in my life!’”

Hanisch, 29, a furniture designer from Chicago, is not shy about sharing his affection for Schumer online. Warning, what you are about to see will elicit a smile and a sigh at how cute these two are.
