American Society for Technion-Israel Institute of Technology has raised $1.95 billion from American donors for the Technion, an Israeli research university based in Haifa. ATS has local chapters across the United States.
Melvyn Bloom led ATS from 1985 through 2014. He transitioned to become the group's executive vice president emeritus in 2014, and was replaced by Jeffrey Richard, who previously worked in the development department at Columbia University.
