Joshua Simmons is a psychologist and psychoanalyst in San Francisco who serves on the American Psychological Association’s Collaborative of Jewish Psychologists and is co-authoring a forthcoming chapter on post–October 7 queer Jewish trauma for an upcoming handbook on Jewish mental health.
