November 14: Boston: Unpacking The Midterms As Jews In Trump’s America

Forward editor-in-chief Jane Eisner is here to help unpack the midterm elections.

On November 14, she will join the JCC of Greater Boston’s Jonathan Samen Hot Buttons Cool Conversations series, analyzing the election outcome and delving into the current political landscape — including being a Jew in Trump’s America.

Jonathan Weisman, deputy Washington editor of the New York Times and author of “(((Semitism))): Being Jewish in America in the Age of Trump,” will join Jane as they discuss polarizing issues that candidates have faced, such as the economy, healthcare, immigration and the future of the Supreme Court.

Moderated by Barbara Kellerman, the James MacGregor Burns Lecturer in Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School, the event will commence in the Riemer Goldstein Theater from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
