December 24: Manhattan: The Forverts At YiddishFest

Celebrate Hanukkah at the inaugural festival, which will run from December 21-29. YI ❤ NY YiddishFest aims to capture Jewish and Yiddish culture, as well as the spirit of miracles and light, freedom and artistic expression. It will feature theater, Klezmer concerts, film screenings, lectures, panel discussions and famous personalities in the world of Yiddishkeit. There will be tribute to Yiddish language playwright and lecturer Miriam Hoffman on December 24, where Rukhl will speak about Hoffman’s accomplishments at the Forverts.
