The Forward is excited to partner with Temple Ner Tamid of Bloomfield, NJ.
Mohammad Darawshe is a citizen of Israel whose family has lived in the town of Iksal, just outside of Nazareth, for 27 generations. Since he is an Arab with an Israeli passport, like 20 percent of Israel’s population, he has described himself as a “child of both identities.” Mohammad has distinguished himself as a leader amongst Israeli Arabs, a news analyst for Arabs about Israeli political and social trends, and an internationally respected advocate for unexpected and hopeful ways of envisioning the Middle East’s future. Jodi Rudoren, our editor-in-chief, will interview Mohammad, focusing on his vision of Arab-Israeli relations.

Now more than ever, American Jews need independent news they can trust, with reporting driven by truth, not ideology. We serve you, not any ideological agenda.
At a time when other newsrooms are closing or cutting back, the Forward has removed its paywall and invested additional resources to report on the ground from Israel and around the U.S. on the impact of the war, rising antisemitism and the protests on college campuses.
