The Forward is thrilled to partner with Back Pocket Media to bring a live storytelling event featuring journalists, music and community.

About this event

Local Live(s) is a show that brings together journalists and locals for a night of entertainment and conversation by and for the people of the Forward. Think of it as a podcast, but live and on stage. The theme of this event is Power: Stories of Strength, Imbalance and Untapped Potential.

This show will be focused on stories from Los Angeles’s Jewish community. Storytellers TBA!

Journalists share stories behind their reporting, inviting readers into a world they’ve only observed from the outside. Community members also share true, unvarnished stories from their lives. The result is an entertaining, captivating event filled with new connections and suspense.

To attend, please RSVP on eventbrite. Tickets are $5 per person, however additional donations are always welcome and help support our news organization. If the ticket price is at all a concern, please contact Aaron White, Director of Individual Giving, at white@forward.com.
