Ivanka Sure Seems Like She’s Promoting That Book She Promised Not To Promote
First Daughter and presidential adviser Ivanka Trump pledged last month that in order to comply with government ethics rules and to “avoid the appearance of using my official role” for personal gain, she would donate proceeds for her new book “Women Who Work” to charities and would “not publicize the book through a promotional tour or media appearances.”
While Trump has indeed refrained from appearing at book stores or on talk shows, she has still been mentioning her publication on her personal social media pages.
A video posted to Trump’s Instagram account on Thursday that features her dancing with her children contains a caption that refers to her book and links to an article about it in Working Mother magazine (which in turn links to the Amazon page where people can buy the book).

Trump’s personal Instagram and Facebook pages also feature images of people posing with the book, including Tiffany and Lara Trump and members of the National Urban League.
