Ex-AIPAC Staffer Running For Congress In Illinois
Jeremy Wynes, who has worked on staff at both AIPAC and the Republican Jewish Coalition, is seeking a seat in the U.S. Congress in an Illinois swing district.
Wynes will hope to take on Democratic incumbent Brad Schneider, who is also Jewish.
In a YouTube video announcing his campaign, Wynes highlighted his background in Jewish politics. “I worked with Republicans and Democrats for over a decade to try to prevent a nuclear Iran,” he said.
Wynes worked at AIPAC for nearly seven years, before leaving in 2014 to lead the Chicago office of the RJC.
