Howard Stern Proclaims He ‘Would Be Gay’ With Al Franken

Howard Stern, proclaiming his “man crush” on Sen. Al Franken (D-Minnesota), praised Franken’s new book on Monday on his radio show.
Stern said he told his wife Beth that “if I was a homosexual, I’d probably ask Al Franken out on a date,” according to The Hill.
Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers said this was the first time Stern’s admitted to having a man crush.
A former Saturday Night Live writer, Franken was first elected in 2008. His book “Giant of the Senate,” published early this month, highlights his unlikely path from comedy to politics.
“The guy is so knowledgeable and so worked up about being a senator,” Franken said on the show. “I wish there were more passionate people like this guy.”
Stern married his wife Beth in 2008, and Franken married his wife Franni in 1975.
“I like a nice, funny man,” Stern said. “I’m not shallow.”
