Cantor Fitzgerald Exec Snaps Up $44M Penthouse At Manhattan’s Pierre Hotel

Howard Lutnick, the Cantor Fitzgerald chief executive who led the financial services firm back from the World Trade Center attacks, is acquiring one of the city’s most plum properties – dropping $44 million for the penthouse at the Pierre Hotel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The digs include 12,000 square feet of living space, spreading over three floors, with panoramic views of Central Park. The Pierre is a landmark on account of its green mansard roof. The home has five bedrooms and five fireplaces, in addition to a private elevator. Lutnick and wife Allison declined comment to the New York Post. which first reported this story.
The Lutnicks already own a townhouse on the Upper East Side and pads in the Hamptons and on Florida’s gold coast. Howard Lutnick lost his brother and hundreds of colleagues in the World Trade Center attacks. Cantor Fitzgerald was at that time located in the Twin Towers complex.
