Trump’s Jewish Wingman: ‘Some Of My Best Friends Are Black’
President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen wants you to know that he’s not a racist, just because his boss doesn’t see much difference between white supremacists and those who protest against them, per his Tuesday remarks about the Charlottesville protests.
His proof? A photo collage of Cohen with assorted African-American pals, tweeted Wednesday morning. It’s like the old joke, meant to poke fun at the clueless casual racist, that “his best friends are black.”
Except Cohen’s not joking.
As the son of a holocaust survivor, I have no tolerance for #racism. Just because I support @POTUS @realDonaldTrump doesn’t make me a racist pic.twitter.com/lfIwdosreE

Some who are black, but aren’t Cohen’s friends, aren’t buying it, says Questlove:
Cohen has been tied to Trump since at least February 2007, when the New York Post reported that he was buying a lot of Trump apartments. Trump told the Post that, clearly, Cohen was a very smart person. In short order, Cohen joined the The Trump Organization and has served as Trump’s “pit bull,” as he’s known internally, ever since.
