Kushner Co. Gets Dumped By New York PR Firm
Risa Heller, the high-powered New York public relations maven, is no longer representing the Kushner Companies, the family real estate firm of presidential advisor/son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Heller’s action took place in the aftermath of the Charlottesville, Va. terror attack and the highly-criticized response to it by President Trump.
Heller has represented the Kushner firm for more than a year, and during the presidential transition worked with Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump, Politico reported.
Both the Kushner Companies and the Heller firm declined to explain the reason for the split to Politico, but Ivanka Trump has praised Heller in the past.
“Risa is incredibly talented, driven and passionate,” Trump told BuzzFeed in April. “She is a formidable advocate and respected by all as a trustworthy and honest broker of facts.”
