Trump Lashes Out At ‘Little’ Jewish Congressman Adam Schiff

Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, has finally gotten his own presidential nickname. “Little Adam Schiff” is how the president of the United States chose to describe the Jewish congressman in a Monday morning tweet.

By Trump standards, getting a derogatory nickname may be a sign of political importance, which now puts Schiff alongside “crocked” Hillary, “crazy” Bernie, “Lyin” Ted and many others singled out by the president.

Trump seemed to be irritated by Schiff’s attacks on the Nunes memo which questioned the FBI’s integrity and by Schiff’s intention to publish his own rebuttal memo. In his tweet, Trump claimed that Schiff, a California lawmaker, “is desperate to run for higher office.” The president accused Schiff of being “one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!”

Trump did not indicate in his tweet how Schiff should be stopped and by whom.
