ZOA Claims It Stopped ‘Anti-Semitic’ Al Jazeera Reports On Israel Lobby

The Zionist Organization of America took credit on Tuesday for convincing the Al Jazeera network to drop a series about American pro-Israel advocacy groups, which the ZOA deemed to be a “viciously anti-Semitic” project, The Times Of Israel reported.
Morton Klein, the organization’s president, reportedly met with Qatar’s emir and the Doha-based network’s officials in “round-the-clock meetings.”
The channel described the un-aired four-part series as an “investigation of how such groups secure support for Israel in Congress and how they have been drawn into Israel’s covert campaign to defeat BDS, the movement to boycott, divest, and impose sanctions on Israel.”
It was based on the work of an Al Jazeera undercover reporter who was sent to Washington in 2016 and worked under the false name “Antoine Kleinfeld,” according to Tablet.
ZOA claimed that the project targeted themselves, as well as officials from Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, AIPAC, and the American Jewish Committee.
