Ivanka And Jared Are Done With Renting, Ready To Buy In D.C.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are in the market for a permanent home in Washington, D.C., two people with knowledge of their search told Politico.

Since January, the couple has been renting a $5.5 million, six-bedroom house in the Kalorama neighborhood.

According to one of Politico’s sources, Trump and Kushner are eyeing a home larger than their current place, spacious at 6,700 square feet, and have toured at least one already.

“They are actively looking because they’re unhappy with the place they’re in,” the other person familiar with their search told Politico, describing the house hunt as ongoing and taking place in Kalorama and Georgetown.

Washington political and social circles have long speculated about whether the couple, both White House advisers, would remain in town or return to their lives in New York.
