Joe Lieberman’s Daughter Moves To Israel With Husband And 4 Small Children

The daughter of former U.S. senator and ex-vice presidential candidate Joe Lieberman was among 232 North Americans to arrive in Israel on Wednesday on a special flight chartered by aliyah organization Nefesh B’Nefesh, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Lieberman’s daughter Hana Lowenstein immigrated to Israel with her husband Daniel and their four children, who range from 2 to 7 years old.

“We’ll be visiting there a lot,” Lieberman told The Post. His eldest granddaughter already lives in Israel, “so it’s a movement in our family.”

“I’m excited, I’m proud of them – it’s the Jewish future, Jewish destiny,” he continued. “We miss them of course but thank God we have WhatsApp and Facetime and Skype. I’m very grateful that we live in a time — for the first time in two millennia — that there is a Jewish State of Israel that Jews around the world can go to by choice and not just because they need a sanctuary.”
