Kushner Touts Israel Peace Plan While Dodging Khashoggi Questions On Fox

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner sidestepped questions about the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi in a rare interview given in the Trump family’s safe space: Sean Hannity’s show on Fox.

“I think our intelligence agencies are making their assessments and we’re hoping justice is brought to where that should be,” said Kusher, President Trump’s son-in-law.

It was a vague statement that contradicts what the CIA already concluded: that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman ordered the killing of Khashoggi, a critic of the Saudi Arabia, at the country’s consulate in Istanbul in October.

“We’re focused now on the broader region,” Kushner continued. “Figuring out how to hopefully bring a deal together between the Israelis and the Palestinians.”

Kushner and the crown prince reportedly have a close relationship. Business Insider reported that the two spoke often after Khashoggi was killed, with Kushner advising him on how to “weather the storm” while insisting he “resolve his conflicts around the region and avoid further embarrassments.”
