Prepare to bite into the bagel of your dreams.

Passover ends at sundown this Saturday, which means the feasting on chametz is almost upon us. Which is why we decided to put together a list of delicious yeasty bagels for you to potentially stuff your face with once the chametz ban is over.

1) The Rainbow Bagel:

The invention of Brooklyn bagel maven Scott Rossilo, the rainbow bagel has gone viral in every way. But is this mutation of the traditional boiled baked good a refreshing twist, or a culinary shonda? Jewish public opinion seems to be split.

This Turkish bagel is a much beloved treat.

Simit – An important food in turkish culture. It is like pretzel or bagel with sesame seeds on top but it is harder and crunchier. 4) The Non-Kosher Classic:

The Pizza bagel! We love Black Seed’s delicious bagels, but this bagel pizza has pepperoni in it. It might be the perfect post-Passover treat for the “rebellious” Jews who ask to hold the bread during Passover brunch, but still have their side of bacon.

7) The Jerusalem Bagel:

Israelis call them “baygaleh.” They’re delicious dipped is za’atar, with some labneh and olive oil, or just plain. You can find a recipe for these delicious sesame seed coated bagels here.

Maybe you just don’t need to mess with a good thing. The traditional bagel, cream cheese and lox platter is where it’s at for us. New York’s Sadelle’s bagels are delicious and elegant, and just the perfect size for a post Passover nosh.
