Party Tonight In A Wine-Lover’s Paradise

Either way, you’re in luck: Tonight, Wednesday June 21, Yeshiva University Museum is holding its annual gala at the City Winery, and tickets are still available. The gala’s theme is “The Vine Cheereth,” and the event honors the Herzog family “for cheering us and strengthening global Jewish life,” according to the YUM Gala event page.
Tonight’s program includes a wine tasting and a talk on the history of wine and winemaking between David Herzog and Rabbi Dr. Meir Solovetchik. Dinner will feature some wonderful food-and-wine pairings and the evening will conclude with an auction of rare wines and wine-related artifacts.
