Light Up A Latke Party With The Gift Of Hanukkah-Themed Beer

If you really want to light up someone’s latke party, bring along some Hanukkah cheer in the form of Shmaltz Brewing Company’s Hanukkah releases: Chanukah, Hanukkah…Pass the Beer (Golden Strong Ale with Cocoa Nibs), Jewbelation 21 (Dark American Strong Ale), and Shtick in a Box, a holiday variety 12-pack.

More Gourmet Gift Ideas

As we celebrate Hanukkah in the days to come, Shmaltz — whose brewery and taproom are located in Clifton Park, New York — is celebrating its 21st birthday. The company has a lot to be proud of, having started out of owner Jeremy Cowen’s San Francisco apartment (he delivered the beer using his grandmother’s Volvo), to operating a brewery with a staff of 30 and over 40 awards under its belt. Shmaltz calls itself “the only Jewish celebration beer company in the country,” and we’re happy to celebrate with them. You can, too, by attending one of its “21 & Over” events around the country.
