Fun Fact:

Columbia College Chicago has the largest Center for Book and Paper Arts in the United States.

Why should Jewish students attend Columbia College Chicago? Metro Chicago Hillel at Columbia makes a very dedicated effort in providing platforms and spaces for Jewish students to connect with one another by channeling what the students are interested in. We have a focus on Jewish-oriented art events within the city and make a point to discus the power of being Jewish and being an artist as well. Metro Chicago Hillel also allows students at Columbia to branch out and meet Jewish students all over the Chicago area. Through our Silverstein Base Hillel program, a house that hosts events weekly and is occupied by our campus Rabbi and Educator, students are able to have fruitful conversations as well as learn more about their Judaism, allowing them to expand their social circle and also their community. It is a great Hillel that is there when you need it and available when you want it! - Evan Richter, Metro Chicago Hillel
