Fun Fact:

Among the TV shows filmed on CSUN’s campus were “Arrested Development,” “The Office” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

Why should Jewish students attend CSUN? With multiple schools ranked in the top 25 nationally — including business, film and education — CSUN provides its students with an incredible education at an unbelievable value. CSUN’s Jewish community is thriving with 3,500 Jewish students and the opportunity to major, or minor, in Jewish studies. On top of all of this, CSUN’s location in the San Fernando Valley provides students with unprecedented access to business networking opportunities, local beaches and all of the excitement that exists in the greater Los Angeles metro area. — David S. Katz, executive director, Hillel 818

Jewish students should attend our campus because there really is an overall opportunity to meet all needs. Our college provides students with an excellent education while being able to observe a halachic lifestyle. Our Hillel house is always open and full of students, with kosher food always ready for you after a long day of school. We offer shiurim throughout the week capped off by an amazing Thursday night mishmar, which goes from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Anything that a frum student could want, we have; and if we don’t, we will go out of our way to make accommodations for that student. We have an incredibly large Jewish population hovering around 7,000 Jewish students between all three campuses. Overall life in the San Fernando Valley is just great and we would love to see you become part of our OU-JLIC community. — Rabbi Bryan and Sondra Borenstein, OU-JLIC Educators
