Why should Jewish students attend UK? The University of Kentucky prides itself on its diverse community. Jewish students on campus come together each Shabbat and celebrate with one another. There are many leadership opportunities within the group. The Jewish student life is growing, looking forward to not only a bigger Jewish community in the future but also a larger Jewish studies program. Hillel at the University of Kentucky creates a welcoming community for one another and students of other religions. The Jewish community in the Lexington area is also very welcoming for Hillel students to go to the Temple and Synagogue in the area. - Amy Groswald, president, Kentucky Hillel
