These 4 Jewish Comedians Are Backing #NoBillNoBreak Anti-Gun Push
As more than half of the Jewish members of the House participated in a sit-in protest of the Senate’s failure to pass gun control measures, celebrities took to social media to voice support for the cause.
Amy Schumer urged her followers to support the sit-in, which was trending on Twitter under the hashtag #NoBillNoBreak.
In a conversation with Politico, she invoked the shooting attack in Orlando, Florida, which left 49 dead. “I am sickened by the cowardice of these people who are supposed to lead us. In November, we will remember who stood with the gun lobby, rather than their constituents, as we mourned for Orlando.”
