In this week’s podcast, host Josh Nathan-Kazis is joined by Forward editor Jane Eisner and Forward fellow Naomi Zeveloff to discuss Palestinian prime minister Salam Fayyad and his hopes for Palestinian statehood. Then, the group turns to discuss the Israel debate on US college campuses and how college presidents are handling the sometimes-toxic atmosphere. Finally, New York politicians, Scott Stringer and Steve Levin, were outraged this week by a Brooklyn jewelry store carrying swastika earring they and stuck to their outrage even after it was pointed out that the earrings weren’t Nazi swastikas at all. The group tries to decide if their outrage is justified.
