WATCH: Aly Raisman’s Parents Were the Most Nervous People at the Olympics
Aly Raisman’s parents squirmed, hid and clutched their way through their daughter’s qualifying round on Sunday. NBC cameras captured Lynn and Rick Raisman watching the 22-year-old gymnast perform her uneven bar routine, and it’s safe to say that it was all kinds of an emotional roller coaster.
First, there was the hiding.
Some endless chanting of “come on, come on, come on.”
Lots of leaning back.
Ahhh release.
