Israeli Bus Attacked Near Eilat
An Israeli bus traveling near Eilat was attacked by gunmen, injuring at least five passengers.
The attack on Egged bus number 392 just after noon on Thursday may have originated from Egypt, according to reports.
Two other attacks, one on a second bus and the other roadside bombs detonated as Israeli troops chased the bus attackers, also occurred in the same area shortly after the first bus attack, according to Israeli sources.
Israeli media are reporting that there are an unknown number of fatalities in the attacks.
The commander of the Edom Formation is on the scene making an initial assessment, an Israel Defense Forces spokesman told JTA.
