6 Heartbreaking Photos From Slain Mom Dafna Meir’s Funeral

A funeral for Dafna Meir, the slain settler mom of six, was held Monday amid a sea of grief.

The gynecology nurse was set upon in the doorway of her home in the West Bank settlement of Otniel Sunday, authorities said.

Her attacker fled and the manhunt for him continued Monday as Meir, 39, was laid to rest in Jerusalem.

Her burial was preceded by a procession and an emotional service in the street near her home. Three of the children were in the house at the time.

Here are six heartbreaking photos from the funeral, where husband Natan sobbed inconsolably over her body. Her six kids too: Renana, 17, Akiva, 15, Ahava, 10, Noa, 11, Yair, 6, and Yaniv, 4.
