Danish Teen Charged With Plotting To Bomb Jewish School

A 16-year-old Danish girl was charged with planning attacks on two schools, one of them Jewish.
The girl, who was 15 when she was arrested in January, allegedly planned bombing attacks on a Jewish school in Copenhagen and another school in Denmark. She had acquired chemicals to create the explosives, according to Danish prosecutors.
A friend, 24, who prosecutors said provided the bombmaking manuals, was charged as an accessory, according to reports.
Both of the suspects, who have not been named, maintain their innocence.
The girl recently converted to Islam, Reuters reported, and her friend had fought with the Islamic State in Syria.
The targeted schools, the Carolineskolen Jewish day school in Copenhagen, and the Sydskolen public school in the western Zealand town of Farevejle, were told of the plot by Mid and West Zealand Police and the Danish Security Intelligence Service, The Local reported.
