Trump ‘Triggers’ Jew Haters With ‘Happy Hanukkah’ Wishes

Some of Donald Trump’s more anti-Semitic supporters were most unhappy over the weekend that marked both Christmas Eve and the first night of Hanukkah, when the president-elect sent out a Hanukkah greeting to American Jews.

Trump has a mixed record when it comes to inclusiveness during the holiday season. His daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, are both Jewish and celebrate Hanukkah, something that she acknowledged in a Tweet. But the president-elect has also gained attention as a combatant in the “war on Christmas,” often discussing the fact that he wants people to say “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays.”
