Mayim Bialik Looks Forward to 2013

Mayim Bialik said on the Golden Globes red carpet that she is looking forward to a good 2013. She’s pretty sure it can’t be any worse than 2012, during which she was injured in a car accident and filed for divorce from her husband of nine years.

In other leftover Golden Globes news: Paul Rudd explained what exactly happened with the teleprompter went blank while he was on stage presenting; Bill Clinton, a huge Homeland fan, asked to hang out with Claire Danes; Lena Dunham was star struck when Sally Field congratulated her; and there’s this meme photo of Mel Gibson circulating on Facebook. Oh, and we also like this “Mutual Mazels” photo of Ben Affleck and Adele.

And, of course, there has to be at least one more item today about Lena Dunham. Apparently, shock jock Howard Stern has apologized (sort of) for insulting her and her show.

Take a look at former “America’s Top Model” religious Jewish contestant Esther Petrack modeling her IDF combat soldier uniform. Petrack, who was born and raised until 16 in Jerusalem, decided to get off the runway and on to the army base.

Emmy Rossum graces the cover of the February issue of Self Magazine and dishes about her exercise and diet habits.

Elizabeth Banks explains how having two kids now makes her feel like she’s really a mom. With the first, it’s have-kid-will-travel, but it’s not quite so easy once the second arrives.

James Deen talks about what it’s like to be known as “that porn guy.” And James Franco talks about gay sex (in his new film at Sundance).

Looks like those Hollywood men are not as tall as we think they are. But the Jewish ones are still mostly among the shortest (for instance, they’re all MOTs—Dustin Hoffman, Danielle Radcliffe and Woody Allen— at the 5’5” mark).

Mark Zuckerberg is pretty juiced about the new “Graph Search” Facebook feature he unveiled on Tuesday.

And in celeb parenting sightings: Natalie Portman leaving a mommy and me gym class with Aleph; Jerry Seinfeld dropping his kids off at school; and Jennifer Connelly walking near the NY set of her new film with her daughter Agnes.
